Today we salute patriarchs all over the world. We celebrate them in different ways but the message tends to all be the same; we are grateful for their presence and consistency.
Years ago we looked to the males of our families as a source for the family to thrive. As we also did so towards our females, the male role played out a bit differently whereas they were all bread and butter and without their contribution many families starved. Today we hold the roles of fathers nearer to our hearts as they are coaches, mentors and thoroughbred examples of what it is like to be pillars in and to our communities. We have indeed come a long way.
As we celebrate Father’s Day 2012, be sure to thank all of the fathers you know for being good examples of what love and kindness really mean by way of their contribution. Thank them for being literal in all they do and most of all thank them for being present. Every imparted piece of wisdom from a father is a gem to be treasured for lifetimes. It is partly the reason why IMAGIREAD is a multi-dimensional FAMILY platform because we recognize the importance and value of fathers being there in all of their greatness, everyday and all the time, to continue the lines of open communication.
